School groups

We welcome school groups and offer a reduced rate to pre booked groups of over 20. For more information and booking please phone the zoo on 01263 510741.

The Yurt

Our yurt offers an indoor area filled with a variety of fun educational games and toys, that can be enjoyed by all the family during your visit. You can get creative with chalks, dig for fossils or read about the current conservation projects being supported by the zoo.

Little Keepers

We run drop in groups twice a week during term time, activities include messy play, water play, crafts and bubbles. You can meet other parents and guardians in a friendly unstructured setting. This is included in your admission or membership. For dates and information please follow:

Home Education rates

Amazona Zoo invites home educators and their families to the zoo for just £9 per child including one free adult. Additional children with the same adult are just £3. This special rate includes admission to the zoo for the allocated days. These are:

Norfolk term-time, Mon-Fri, between 10am and 2pm

Home Education Sessions

Sessions are aimed at families who home educate. Pre-booking is essential by either visiting the front desk, over the phone or on-line. Spaces may become available on the day due to no-shows, but this is not guaranteed. Please contact us as soon as you can if you are unable to make your booking.

Price

Sessions are free to attend but entry to the zoo must be purchased using the home education rate. During the sessions, a donations box will be available for anyone who would like to contribute to the continued running of the sessions.
