“Santiago” our new baby Tapir
It may be the worst kept secret in Cromer 
but we would like you all to officially meet “Santiago” our new baby Tapir.
Santiago was born on the 2nd November 2023 and the reason we have been so quiet, is due to the fact he had a tough start to life and our amazing Keepers have had to step in and bottle feed him 24/7 for the last 3 months. Their dedicated hard work has paid off as we now have a very healthy boy.
He has bonded well with mum Ennis and is now eating more solids as he is weaned of the milk.
Seeing him when you visit is not guaranteed as he is still only little and takes lots of naps.
We will keep you up to date with photos and hope you can all come and meet him soon – he is a special little boy
